Project Manager, Barrel

Aretha Choi is a Project Manager at Barrel, an interactive agency in New York City. She joined Barrel in 2010 when it was a small 5-person shop. Since then she has played a key role in growing the business (currently a team of nearly 30 people), developing the project management discipline, and advancing the content strategy offerings.

She’s led teams on projects with clients such as McGraw-Hill Education, Penguin Speakers Bureau, The Chamber Music Society at Lincoln Center, and Princeton University, and has managed a number of content management system integrations. She’s also been helping launch Digital Project Management (DPM) Connect, a community for digital project managers in New York City.

Away from devices, she is biking, practicing Bikram yoga, or reading a book (currently Raymond Carver’s Where I’m Calling From). She likes rain, Chartreuse, and Humphrey Bogart.
